THE LEGACY GIVING COMMEMORATIVE NATIVE TREE PROGRAM
PLANT A TREE PROGRAM
The Commemorative Native Tree Program is a heartfelt initiative that allows community members to honor their loved ones while contributing to the health and beauty of the park. Participants can dedicate a native tree as a living tribute, symbolizing growth and remembrance. Each tree planted not only serves as a personal memorial but also plays a crucial role in enhancing the local environment by supporting biodiversity, improving air quality, and providing habitat for wildlife.
Your donation includes a tree, planting, lifelong maintenance, and a commemorative bronze plaque.
The Native Tree program accepts applications and conducts plantings twice a year, in early spring and late fall. Donors will chose from a pre-selected list of native trees for sites already chosen at the park. The 2025 spring deadline is March 31st with a planting date the week of April 20th.
